The Team

Kaleidoscope is run by a qualified and experienced childcare supervisor who is assisted by a team of suitably qualified and experienced staff. All staff are DBS checked and also hold first aid and food hygiene certificates.

Sarah Purvis is the designated person for Safeguarding and Child Protection and in her absence the Deputy Supervisor fulfils this role.

Sarah joined Kaleidoscope in 2010 and also works at Browick Road as a HLTA and teaching assistant for Reception children. Sarah was appointed Supervisor in September 2014 and is working hard to manage the imminent changes to all of our local schools ensuring that Kaleidoscope caters for children of all ages with a wide range of activities. Sarah loves working with the children to choose new and exciting resources and games!

Kimberley Collins

Deputy Supervisor

Kim has worked with us for 8 years. She was appointed Deputy Supervisor in 2017 She also works at Browick Road Primary School as a HLTA. She is good at creating a fun and free atmosphere within the club.

Hester Wilson


Hester joined our team in 2014 . Hester is a teaching assistant at Browick Road Primary School and has over 14 years experience in child care. Hester is really creative and loves making things with the children!

Karen Zammit Reeder


Karen has been part of the team since 2014. After taking a year out in 2017 Karen returned to Kaleidoscope in November 2018. When not at Kaleidoscope, Karen also works as bank staff at Busy Bee's Nursery at Browick Road Primary School. Karen has 20 years of experience of working with children of all ages. She loved all messy activities, music and cooking!

Stuart Warner


Stuart has been part of the team since 2010. When not at Kaleidoscope he works as a Teaching Assistant at Robert Kett Junior School. A big kid at heart Stuart is often found doing creative activities with the children. Stuart is very good at interacting with the older children.

Emma Maxam


Emma has worked at Kaleidoscope since January 2016. She has worked at Browick Road Primary for the last 6 years as a teaching assistant. Emma also works at Robert Kett Primary as a playworker. Emma is spontaneous and interactive with children of all ages!
